No, you do not need a license to race in the VHKC.
Yes, you must not have any alcahol in your system when racing in the VHKC.
To coincide with safety restriction at race venues, drivers must be below 145kg.
Drivers must be at least 14 years of age to race in the VHKC.
Rounds at Le Mans Entertainment may feature an age requirment of 16 years old. Please see the specific event pages for more infomation.
Register as a member of the on the VHKC website, head to our events page the purchase a driver ticket to upcoming rave events. Arrive at the venue on race day with your ticket and get racing!
championship format
Every driver in the championship will have their lowest scoring round removed from their points total. This means that every driver will have a round where they score 0 points. This makes a bad race or a missed round less punishing.
Yes, a team's points total is calculated by accumulating all the points of each driver, after Drop Rounds are applied.
Yes, but only following their first or second race of a season. Once a driver has started a third race, they are locked into their division until the end of the season.

Around 95% of driver ticket revenue will cover the cost of the standard venue and kart access. The remaining 5% covers the operating costs of the VHKC, including trophies, medals, website costs and other small operational fees. The VHKC has no intention on making a profit from Driver Ticket sales. We will always aim to keep ticket prices as low as possible to ensure the highest level of accesibility.
Once the official schedule is released, tickets will be avalailable two months prior to the respective race events.
You can buy tickets on our events page. You can also buy tickets upon arival at the venue, but only if their are still tickets available, thus we will always suggest purchasing tickets online in advance.
Tickets are 100% refundable up until 7 days before the race event.
We may also offer a refund for requests within the 7-day period, only if we can resell your ticket to another driver.
If we are unable to resell your ticket and the VHKC has lost no funds on your ticket (paying the venue for the slot in the event), you may be eligible for a credit voucher equal in value to your driver's ticket.If you have purchased a ticket and are late, or can not make it to a race, just let us know and we can provide you with a a voucher equal to the same price as your ticket.
Yes, however we recomend that you register your ticket online to let us know you're coming. If there are no tickets remaining on race day, we can not accomodate in person driver ticket purchases.

Approach a VHKC member, who will scan your ticket to check you in and provide you with an armband.
Friends and family are welcome to come along as spectators, however if they wish to hit the track themselves, they will need to purchase a driver ticket.
Yes, shortly after a race event, we will make race results, lap times and other information available on the VHKC website.
Yes. If you intentionally hit someone on track with exessive force, you may face temporary or permanent suspension from the VHKC.
We understand that accidents and racing incidents happen, however, repeated offences will not go unpunished. Every time you are reported for disadvantaging someone else on track via contact, you will be given an incident point. If you acrue 5 or more incident points, you will receive a points deduction in the championship.
Armbands are to signal the different divisions racing out on track. Blue armbands are worn by drivers in Division 1 whilst orange armbands are worn by drivers in Divions 2.

Once you are registered to a team, any championship points you earn from that point forward within the season, will also contribute to your team's total.
No, you don't need to be a part of a team. The team championship is optional. You are more than welcome to participate as a solo driver, competing in the Driver's Championship.
If you are a team of two drivers, you are permitted to add an additional driver to your before round 5 of the season. If your team already lists three drivers, you cannot add more drivers to the team.
A team can only remove drivers at the end of a season.
No, once a driver has been registered to a team, they may not join another team until the season is completed.

We are actively looking to host a Junior series in to coincide with our main series. Expression of interest will be released for this soon.
Not at the moment, however we aspire to broadcast races in future seasons.
Yes! The top 3 drivers in Division 1 and Division 2 at each race will be awarded medals. The top 3 Drivers in Division 1 and Division 2, as well as the top 3 teams at the end of the season will be awarded with trophies.
